"Revealed: How To Use 'Two-Step' Advertising To Rapidly Grow Your Service Business"

There are two main advertising methods available to the small (and large) business owner - 'one-step' and 'two-step' advertising.

One-step advertising is when the ad goes all out and asks for the sale. This is also known as 'selling off the page.' It is by far the hardest advertising method, and is very difficult to achieve successfully when selling a high value or complicated product or service.

On the other hand, two-step advertising, or lead generation advertising is relatively easy to achieve, and your response will be much higher than if you used one-step advertising.

Better still…

Contrary to popular belief your sales conversion (number of sales you get from the total number of enquiries) can still be excellent using the two-step advertising method. I've seen people convert up to 50% (1 in every 2 enquiries). Pretty good isn't it?

So by using the two-step advertising method you get more leads which means more sales. The key is HOW to get highly targeted people to respond to your ad.

The great news is that this is very easy. Too easy to believe!

What do you think could be so enticing that people would be moved to contact you? What could have so much power, that your prospects eagerly anticipate receiving it? What costs you almost nothing to produce? What could literally transform your business - irrespective of the business you're in? Any ideas?

Wait for it…

Here's what it is…

*************************
A Free Special Report!
*************************

That's right! You offer a special report. The special report can be on any subject to do with your service.

For example, it could be a report on "31 Common Mistakes…" or "7 Secrets…" or a "How To…" report. It really is that simple.

The great news is as long as your report is focused on your service, your *BEST* prospects will request it.

What's critical with this advertising method is to create your classified ad, print ad, or fax ad to solely focus on people sending for your free special report. Nothing else matters!

Explain the benefits of the report. Describe what your prospects will discover. And then make it easy for them to respond.

Dan Kennedy the great marketing genius from the US says that all businesses should be in the information business no matter what they sell. What he's referring to is the power of information and how seductive it is to your prospects and clients.

Your free report will guarantee your two-step advertising is successful. Nothing else has the same attraction for your prospects. I've personally generated hundreds of thousands of pounds for my own businesses and my clients' businesses using this simple approach.

You can use it in your classified ads, Yellow Pages ® ads, broadcast fax ads, and print ads (newspaper, magazine, and trade press), plus all your other lead generation techniques such as direct mail.

I am not really interested in getting back in to PPC as it cost a lot of money last time for not a lot of return. We have been without it for over a year and what you are doing is still increasing visits and turnover on the site.

Hello Ian, came across your website via a Google search and wanted to say how impressed I am! The marketing plan template arrived within seconds of my request - it is clear, tremendously helpful and has provided me with the structure I desperately lacked as I prepare to kick off my new business on 1st September! A really super service, am sure I will be in touch again over the coming weeks to discuss other elements of your offer.

I would just like to bring a ray of sunshine to your day (well it did for me).
Since we started to work with Ian Smith, our Adwords guru, our results have improved impressively. These figures are the average across the board, ..
Our Click through rate has gone from 1% to a very credible 4.5%
Our average cost per click has dropped from 87p to 63p (just remember some clicks are still £2+).
Our average position has gone from 5.4 to 4.6
So all in all a very good result and with further input we hope to do even better.
