Search engine submissions are not necessary anymore!

There are 2 major ways the search engines find the pages to your website:

  • Finding links TO your website from other websites. This is by far the most efficient and preferred method. There certainly used to be speculation that this also produced better overall ranking if Google 'found' your site rather than you actually telling Google about it.
